Create your own intarsia design
NOVEMBER 22, 4-7pm Pacific
DESCRIPTION
This is a live online workshop that will teach you the basics for designing and charting your own unique Intarsia pattern. The workshop begins with an overview of the basics of intarsia design, followed by a quick tutorial for using Stitch Fiddle. Students are then given 2 hours to work on their designs individually. During this time, all students will have the opportunity to receive ongoing one-on-one advice/guidance from the instructor about their designs and the charts they are creating. The class ends with an optional show-and-tell, as well as some final instruction for adapting your intarsia chart to any given stockinette knitting pattern (hat, garment, socks, etc.).
The Zoom workshop will be recorded and uploaded to the class portal after class for you to rewatch at your convenience as many times as you want.
Accessibility: my live online classes on Zoom are captioned using the Zoom automatic live caption feature, and I upload the transcript with the video after class.
